COMPANY PROFILE

PROJECT was founded in Milano (Italy) in 1996 by Michele Barbarito and Guido Rizzi, acting as a Consultant Engineering Company in the field of Overhead Lines and structural design of electrical substations, microwave towers and industrial projects.

PROJECT focus on OHTL, from conceptual design to site supervision, works for international Authorities as well as International Contractors, following projects from the initial feasibility studies to the commissioning.

The company collects different experiences and competences that work in synergy with each other in all fields of OHTL engineering, with the aim of pursuing the highest design quality.

Michele BarbaritoENGINEER PROFILE

Founder Partner
Design Director.

Graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano in 1963.
He started his career in 1965 in SAE, then he moved to SADELMI and finally to ABB SAE Sadelmi Company, where he was responsible for structural and Transmission Lines engineering until 1995.
In 1996, toghether with Guido Rizzi, he founded PROJECT.
His activity is focused in transmission lines consulting for both alternative and direct current technology: conceptual design, feasibility study, technical specification,bid evaluation, basic design, selection and design of components, type tests, technical assistance to construction and commissioning.
During his carreer he was involved in several international worldwide projects and has been member of CIGRE working group and European normalization team.

Guido RizziENGINEER PROFILE

Managing.

Graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano in 1970.
He had been developing his career for about 30 years in three engineering companies (SADELMI, Cogis Impianti, Compagnia Elettrotecnica Italiana), where he held reponsibility roles in Project Management, Site Management and engineering of Overhead Lines, electrical substations and industrial plants. He was also responsible of resources (human and equipments) and Information System.
In 1996, toghether with Michele Barbarito, he founded PROJECT.
During his carreer he was involved in several international worldwide projects.

Luca GussoniENGINEER PROFILE

Junior Engineer

Graduated in Civil Engineering – Structures – at the Politecnico di Milano in 2014. He joined PROJECT after graduation and gained experience in OHTL Structural and Electrical Design. He was involved in OHTL projects in Argentina, Chile, Congo, Ethiopia, Ireland, Italy, Perù, Senegal, Sudan, Turkey, Uruguay.
